Vermont Multi-Sport

Lots of activities plus Vermont! Hard to beat it!
MODERATE BIKING PLUS RAFTING, TRAIL RIDING, KAYAKING, MOUNTAIN BIKING      18 DAYS
Trip #VTM

You won't be bored on this trip!

Vermont Multi-Sport combines the best of our Vermont trip with new challenges! Whitewater rafting jump-starts this trip as professional guides lead you through exciting Zoar Gap, along the unspoiled river valley, to a state park for a picnic lunch. Enjoy a quick swim as you raft back to base! Off to Vermont, and as your group cycles through Vermont's winding green valleys, there will be more places to cool off – in a swimming hole, waterfall or even rope-swinging into the river under a covered bridge! Build confidence and team spirit as you try a zip line or high and low ropes, traversing from tree to tree.

You saddle-up to explore the spectacular mountain views, lush pastures, and deep forest paths on horseback. In Killington, your group will ride the gondola to the mountaintop, camp on the lake shore, hike some of the many trails, or play Frisbee in an alpine meadow. One afternoon, you will go canoeing down a pristine stretch of the Connecticut River. This activity-fi lled trip concludes in picturesque Hanover, New Hampshire where your group will explore Dartmouth College and relax. Vermont Multi-Sport promises energetic fun and adventure!

When we came to a town that was interesting, we’d take a longer lunch time, and explore. When we’d see a pretty spot we’d stop and take a group picture. When we’d see a good beach, we would swim. The trip was run by what we opted to do, and that’s what made it perfect. Many camps treat you like a little kid, trapped in what the adults want you to do, but the SHP people make it possible for you to choose, but still stay safe and within reason!

I wouldn’t trade this summer for anything, it was the best of my life! If I were to sum up my SHP trip, I would have to say that I learned the most in these two weeks then anytime else in my life.
