“Jason had a wonderful experience on the WES-1 trip last summer. He was home five days and went on a 10 day canoe trip in the Adirondacks. He was packed and organized for that in hours and needed no reminders. In fact, since his SHP experience he has needed very little direction from us. He joined the cross country team and hopes to join the cross country ski team this winter. He has learned to appreciate how important physical exercise is to his well being. He also hopes to maintain his shape for next summer’s trip. He enjoyed Dennis and Katie tremendously. They must be outstanding leaders! Thank you for providing such an enriching summer experience for our son. There is no doubt it changed his life!”

So classic we've been running it for 40 years!!
Sit on a pile of lobster traps next to docks, seagulls, and
fishing shanties hung with colorful buoys. You will spend a
morning sea-kayaking in a quiet cove, exploring inlets, then
feed swooping seagulls on the ferry to Nantucket. Your
hostel is right on the beach, so you can help gather wood
for that night's bonfire! Build sandcastles, explore the colorful
old whaling port, and picnic at a lighthouse or on top of
the dunes before ferrying again to Hyannis. On the way up
the Cape's bike trails to Truro, you will stop at the National
Seashore for swimming along dazzling beaches. Provincetown's
amazing whale watching expedition has a naturalist
on board to tell you about whales and their remarkable
behaviors.
The trip ends in Boston with sightseeing on the Freedom Trail. You'll visit the Boston
Aquarium for the sea lion show and a behind-the-scenes tour. The trip's last dinner will be in the famous (and delicious!) Italian North End.
